The Indian Navy is the maritime branch of the Indian Armed Forces. The President of India is the Supreme Commander of the Indian Navy. The Chief of Naval Staff, a four-star admiral, commands the navy. As a blue-water navy, it operates significantly in

the Persian Gulf Region, the Horn of Africa, the Strait of Malacca, and routinely conducts anti-piracy operations and partners with other navies in the region. It also conducts routine two to three month-long deployments in the South and East China seas as well as the western Mediterranean sea simultaneously.

Job Location :- Across India 

Salary :- 

• Chargeman : Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400/- pm
• Senior Draughtsman : Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400/- pm
• Tradesman Mate : Rs. 18,000 – 56,900/- pm

Qualification :-

Tradesman Mate:

• 10th + ITI Pass in Relevant Trades

Chargeman (Ammunition Workshop):

• Bachelor of Science degree with Physics or Chemistry or Mathematics from a recognised University or Institution. OR
• A Diploma in Chemical Engineering from a recognised University or Board.

Chargeman (Factory):

• Bachelor of Science degree with Physics or Chemistry or Mathematics from a recognised University or Institution OR
• A Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical/ Computer Engineering from a recognised University or Board.

Senior Draughtsman :

• Matriculation Pass or its equivalent from a recognised Institution or Board.
• Two years Diploma or Certificate in Draughtsmanship from an Industrial Training Institute or equivalent recognised Institution.
• Three years experience from a drawing or design office in the field of Electrical/Mechanical Engineering/Naval Architecture/Cartography

• Western Naval Command: 565 posts
• Southern Naval Command: 36 posts

Chargeman:

• Ammunition Workshop: 22 posts
• Factory: 20 posts

Senior Draughtsman:

• Electrical: 142 posts
• Mechanical: 26 posts
• Construction: 29 posts
• Cartographic: 11 posts
• Armament: 50 posts

Age Limit (as on 31.12.2023) :-

• Tradesman Mate: Between 18-25 years
• Chargeman: Between 18-25 years
• Senior Draughtsman:  Between 18-27 years

Age relaxation: 

• SC/ST: 05 Years
• OBC: 03 Years
• PwBD: UR -10 Years

Selection Process :-

• Selection process will be based on the Shortlisting of candidates,Online Examination & Document Verification
