ISRO is formed in the year of 1969 as an Indian Space Agency under the Indian Government. It’s headquarter is located in Bangalore. The Department of Space(DoS) is responsible for managing and controlling all functions of ISRO. ISRO had subdivisions for their Research facilities,

Test Facilities, Construction, and launch facilities, Tracking and control facilities, and HRD. ISRO provides its services in terms of the television broadcast, meteorological application, Location-based services, telecommunication, and also in natural resources.

Positions :- Technical Assistant, Scientist/ Engineer & Others

Job Location :- Bangalore 

Qualification :-

Scientist / Engineer – SC:

• The candidates should possess B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc(Engg)M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc(Engg)/M.Sc in following disciplines.
• Disciplines: Mechatronics, Material Science, Mathematics, Physics

Technical Assistant:

• First Class Diploma in relevant disciplines from a recognized State Board.
• Disciplines: Electronics/Computer Science/Electrical/Civil/Mechanical

Scientific Assistant:

• First Class Graduate in BSc in relevant discipline from a recognized University/ Institution.
• Disciplines: Chemistry/Physics/Animation & Multimedia/Mathematics

Library Assistant:

• Graduate + First Class Master’s degree in Library Science / Library & Information Science or Equivalent from recognized University/Institution.

Technician – B:

• SSLC/SSC/Matriculation + ITI/NTC/NAC in following trade from NCVT.
• Trades: Electronics Mechanic / Technician Power Electronic Systems / Mechanic Consumer Electronic Appliances / Mechanic Industrial Electronics/ Electrical / Electrician/ Photography / Digital Photography/ Fitter/ Plumber/Refrigeration and Air – Conditioning (R&A/C)/Turner /Carpenter/Motor Vehicle Mechanic/ Welder

Draughtsman – B:

• SSLC/SSC/Matriculation + ITI/NTC/NAC in following trade from NCVT.
• Trades: Mechanical/Civil

Fireman-A:

• SSLC/SSC Pass or its equivalent
• Should satisfy the prescribed physical fitness standards and endurance test standards.

Cook:

• SSLC/SSC Pass or its equivalent
• 05 years experience in a similar capacity as cook in a well-Established Hotel/ canteen, an approved certificate in cookery issued by any recognized/reputed institute.
• Experience Certificates from individuals will not be accepted.

Light Vehicle Driver ‘A’:

• SSLC/SSC Pass or its equivalent
• 03 years experience as Light Vehicle Driver
• Must possess valid LVD licence

Heavy Vehicle Driver ‘A’:

• SSLC/SSC Pass or its equivalent
• 05 years experience, out of which minimum 03 years as Heavy Vehicle Driver and the balance period driving experience of light motor vehicle.
• Must possess valid HVD licence

Salary :- 

• Scientist/Engineer – SC: Rs. 56,100/- per month
• Technical Assistant: Rs. 44,900/- per month
• Scientific Assistant: Rs. 44,900/- per month
• Library Assistant: Rs. 44,900/- per month
• Technician – B and Draughtsman – B: Rs. 21,700/- per month
• Fireman-A: Rs. 19,900/- per month
• Cook: Rs. 19,900/- per month
• Light Vehicle Driver (LVD) ‘A’: Rs. 19,900/- per month
• Heavy Vehicle Driver (HVD) A: Rs. 19,900/- per month

Selection Process :-

• There will be an initial screening based on the academic performance and other parameters the candidates/applicants provide in the online applications. Only those screened-in candidates will be called for a Written Test.
• Candidates who qualify based on the performance /parameters set by ISRO in the Written Test and taking into consideration the number of Vacancies notified will have to appear for the Skill Test /Interview.
