Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited (BCPL) has set up a Petrochemical Complex at Lepetkata. The complex is spread over 3000 Bighas of land at Lepetkata, and is situated at approximately 15 Kilometres away from the Tea City Dibrugarh, Assam.

M/s Engineers India Limited (EIL) was the Engineering and Project Management Consultant for this prestigious project. The plant came as a part of the historic Assam Accord signed on 15th August, 1985 with the motive of overall socio-economic development of the region.

Job Location :- Assam

Salary :-

• Foreman (Electrical) Trainee :  Rs 23,000/-
• Foreman (Mechanical) Trainee :  Rs 23,000/-
• Operator (Chemical) Trainee :  Rs 21,000/-
• Technician (Electrical) Trainee :  Rs 21,000/-
• Technician (Mechanical)-Trainee :  Rs 21,000/-
• Accounts Assistant (F&A)-Trainee :  Rs 21,000/-

Qualification :-

Foreman (Electrical) – Trainee :

• Diploma in Engineering in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics with minimum 55% marks. To be taken as Trainee for a minimum period of one year training with stipend.

Foreman (Mechanical) – Trainee :

• Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical/ Production/ Production & Industrial/ Manufacturing/ Mechanical & Automobile with minimum 55% marks. To be taken as Trainee for a minimum period of one year training with stipend.

Operator (Chemical) – Trainee :

• Bachelor Degree in Science (B.Sc.) with subjects of Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with minimum 50% marks or B.Sc. (Honours) in Chemistry with minimum 50% marks. To be taken as Trainee for a minimum period of one year training with stipend.

Technician (Electrical) – Trainee :

• Matric plus ITI Tradesman ship/ National Apprenticeship Certificate in Electrical / Wireman Trade. To be taken as Trainee for a minimum period of one year training with stipend.

Technician (Mechanical) – Trainee :

• Matric plus ITI Tradesman ship/ National Apprenticeship Certificate in Fitter / Diesel Mechanic / Machinist / Turner trade. To be taken as Trainee for a minimum period of one year training with stipend.

Accounts Assistant (F&A)-Trainee :

• Bachelor Degree in Commerce (B.Com) with minimum 50% marks and minimum typing speed of 40 w.p.m. in English (in computer). Candidates should be proficient in operations of personal computer. To be taken as Trainee for a minimum period of one year training with stipend

Selection Process :-

• Candidates fulfilling all the eligibility criteria (based on the application as submitted in the online application), will be considered for further Selection Process. Depending on the number of candidates fulfilling all criteria, candidates will undergo single stage/ multiple stage selection process. In the event of number of applications being large, BCPL will adopt short listing criteria to a reasonable number by suitably raising the minimum eligibility standards.
