(GACL) was incorporated on 29th March 1973 in the State of Gujarat by Gujarat Industrial Investment Corporation Limited (GIIC), a wholly-owned company of Govt. of Gujarat, as a Core Promoter. GACL has two units located at Vadodara and Dahej, both in the State of Gujarat.

It has integrated manufacturing facilities for Caustic Soda, Chlorine, Hydrogen Gas, Hydrochloric Acid, Chloromethanes, Hydrogen Peroxide, Phosphoric Acid, Potassium Hydroxide, Potassium Carbonate, Sodium Cyanide, Sodium Ferrocyanide.

Qualification :-

Apprentice Attendant Operator Chemical Plant (AOCP) :

• ITI(AOCP) through either National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) or Gujarat Council of Vocational Training (GCVT)

Apprentice Boiler Attendant/ Apprentice Fitter :

• ITI(Fitter) through either National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) or Gujarat Council of Vocational Training (GCVT).

Apprentice Electrician :

• ITI (Electrician) through either National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) or Gujarat Council of Vocational Training (GCVT).

Apprentice Maintenance Mechanic Chemical Plant (MMCP) :

• ITI (MMCP) through either National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) or Gujarat Council of Vocational Training (GCVT).

Apprentice Instrument Mechanic Chemical Plant (IMCP) :

• ITI(IMCP) through either National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) or Gujarat Council of Vocational Training (GCVT).

Apprentice Laboratory Assistant Chemical Plant (LACP) :

• ITI(LACP) through either NCVT or GCVT or B.Sc. (Chem.) with Phy., Che.and Maths/Biology as subjects. Candidate must have completed B.Sc / ITI .

Apprentice Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) :

• ITI(COPA) through either National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) or Gujarat Council of Vocational Training (GCVT).
