The Indian Navy is the maritime branch of the Indian Armed Forces. The President of India is the Supreme Commander of the Indian Navy. The Chief of Naval Staff, a four-star admiral, commands the navy. As a blue-water navy, it operates significantly in

the Persian Gulf Region, the Horn of Africa, the Strait of Malacca, and routinely conducts anti-piracy operations and partners with other navies in the region. It also conducts routine two to three month-long deployments in the South and East China seas as well as the western Mediterranean sea simultaneously.

Stipend :- 

• 01 Year ITI : Rs. 7,700/- pm
• 02 Years ITI : Rs. 8,050/-pm

Qualification :-

• 10th + ITI Pass in Relevant Trades

• Painter (General): 16 posts
• R & A/C Mechanic: 15 posts
• Welder (Gas & Electric): 15 posts
• Machinist: 12 posts
• Instrument Mechanic: 10 posts
• Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance: 06 posts
• Foundryman: 05 posts

Age Limit  :-

• 14 – 18 Years (No upper age restriction) born on or before 02 May 2010
• Age Relaxation as per govt. rules

Selection Process :-

• The selection process will be based on the Shortlisting of candidates, Written Examination, Interview, Document Verification, Oral test and Medical Examination.

All Interested & eligible students must register themselves in the NAPS Portal & apply under the establishment name of “NAVAL DOCKYARD” on the same website under Apprenticeship Opportunities. On completion of online registration, Take a printout of two copies of the hall ticket format and forward the “hall ticket” along with the relevant documents through postal to the mentioned address on or before 01 January 2024.
