NLC is a Navaratna Government of India Enterprise. It is founded in 1956 and it was inaugurated by the first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru.

It is the fossil fuel mining sector in India and thermal power generation. It manually produces about 30 million tonne lignite from opencast mines at Neyveli. This lignite is used in the pithead thermal power station to produce electricity.

Position :- Industrial Trainees

Job Location :- Across India 

Salary :-

Industrial Trainee/SME & Technical (O&M):

• 18,000/- (1st year) 
• 20,000/- (2nd year) 
• 22,000/- (3rd year)

Industrial Trainee (Mines & Mines Support Services) 

• 14,000/- (1st year) 
• 16,000/- (2nd year) 
• 18,000/- (3rd year)

Qualification :-

Industrial Trainee/SME & Technical (O&M):

• Full-time Diploma in Engineering course of minimum 3 years duration (in case of Diploma lateral candidates with XII qualification minimum of two years duration) 

Industrial Trainee (Mines & Mines Support Services):

• Passed X Standard and ITI (NTC) in any Engineering Trade [or]
• X Standard passed and in possession of National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in any Engineering Trade

Total Vacancies :- 736 Posts

• Industrial Trainee/SME & Technical (O&M) – 100 Posts
• Industrial Trainee (Mines & Mines Support Services) – 139 Posts

Selection Process :-

• Selection of applicants for training shall be through a written test.
• Final selection will be in the order of merit based on the overall total score of marks obtained.
