Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited NPCIL is a public sector industry which comes into existence in the year 1987. It functioning under the Department of Atomic Energy.

The headquarter is located in Mumbai. At present Nuclear Power Corporation has 21 nuclear reactors operation at seven locations. All nuclear power plants working under NPCIL industry is certified by the environmental management system.

Positions :- Stipendiary Trainees/ Technician & Others 

Job Location :- Chennai 

Salary :-

• ST/TM Cat-II: Rs. 20,000/- Per Month 
• ST/SA Cat-I: Rs. 24,000/- Per Month 
• Scientific Assistant – C: Rs. 44,900/- Per Month 
• Assistant Grade – 1: Rs. 25,500/- Per Month 

Qualification :-

Stipendiary Trainees/Technician -ST/TM Cat- II:

Maintainer:

• ITI Pass in Fitter trade/Industrial Electronics / Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Information Technology & Electronics system maintenance / Power electronics systems / Instrument mechanic in power plant/ Electrician trade or ITI in Electrician-Power distribution/ Plumber/Welder/ Carpenter.
• For Trades for which the duration of the ITI course is less than 2 years, the candidates shall have at least one-year of relevant working experience after completion of the Course.
• One year apprenticeship training after completion of 1-yr ITI Course shall be considered as One year experience.

Plant Operator:

• HSC (10+2) or ISC in Science Stream (with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
• Candidates Should have had English as one of the Subjects, atleast at the SSC level Examination.

Stipendiary Trainees/Scientific Assistant B – ST/SA -Cat -I:

Diploma Holders in Engineering:

• Diploma with not less than 60% marks in Mechanical/Electrical/ Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering at a recognised university.

Science Graduates:

• B.Sc. with a minimum of 60% marks. B.Sc. shall be with Physics as principal and Chemistry/ Mathematics / Statistics/ Electronics & Computer Science as subsidiary.

Scientific Assistant / C (Safety Supervisor):

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical and Production Engineering

Assistant Grade – 1 (HR/F&A/CMM):

• Any Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institution.
